Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio was interviewed on CNN (by Suzanne Malveaux) this morning about the bipartisan Senate proposal for comprehensive immigration reform. Arpaio called it "amnesty", and emphasized the unfairness to Latinos here legally.

Arizona's Politics is reporting that it appears that a recall effort is about to begin against Sheriff Arpaio.
