A quick "around-the-horn" as the federal government shutdown is winding down its third (freakin') day:
Sen. John McCain (R):
--Tweet: "New season, new owner, new hope - let's go #Coyotes! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x98TvBrQid0 …"
--Also, McCain and Sen. Jeanne Shaheen released a statement after Congress sent President Obama their legislation extending the Special Immigrant Visa Program for Iraqi citizens who assisted U.S. troops during the Iraq War. The legislation was passed unanimously by the Senate on Tuesday and by the House last night.
--Also, engaged with Senators Bob Corker and Elizabeth Warren on the Senate Floor (about 14:30 in); click on picture to right.

--Her speech yesterday on the House floor.
--News release blasting "piecemeal" approach.
Rep. Ron Barber (D-CD2):

Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-CD3:
--Grijalva was on Ed Schulz' radio program today. Quote that his office featured in their news release: "Some of the Tea Party people are very sanctimonious about how hard they work, how much they’re doing, how they’re standing up for the little guy and the American people – and yet, in some ideological madness, they’re going to jeopardize the economy of this country. Eight hundred thousand people are locked out of their jobs and the public is locked out of the assets that they own, whether it’s the parks or a Head Start program where kids can’t go to school now.” Here's the video:
Rep. Paul Gosar (R-CD4):
--Gosar spoke on House floor this afternoon to urge the opening of Lee's Ferry (Grand Canyon):
--Tweet from 20h ago: "Maybe Obama can spare some greens fees & instead keep the veterans memorials open? The open air ones. That require little if any personnel."
Rep. Matt Salmon (R-CD5):
--Salmon will be on Sean Hannity's show on Fox News at approximately 6:10pm tonight.
--Here is his House floor speech from yesterday:
--Transcript of that speech.
Rep. David Schweikert (R-CD6):
