BREAKING: Trump Compares New Grab 'Em Furor To John "Not A War Hero" McCain Comment Uproar

Donald Trump, the GOP Presidential nominee, is coming out swinging this morning, less than 12 hours after his forced apology video, comparing the new uproar over the "Grab them by the p***y" tape to when he said that Arizona Senator John McCain was "a loser" and "not a war hero" because he was captured.

Trump told the Washington Post this morning that "I'm holding up well". Here is his analogy to the McCain comments furor in July 2015:
Trump pointed to his disparagement of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) during the early months of last year’s Republican primary campaign as an example of how he has weathered political storms.
“Everyone said, ‘It’s over, it’s over.’ The people didn’t say that but the reporters said that,” Trump said. When asked to explain his ability in the past to survive, Trump said it’s because “I’m change.”
Since last July, McCain has occasionally criticized Trump but has indicated clearly that he would support his party's nominee. He has also repeatedly stated that he would not answer questions about Trump.

However, the furor that reached the boiling point* yesterday prompted McCain to release a short statement:
“There are no excuses for Donald Trump’s offensive and demeaning comments. No woman should ever be victimized by this kind of inappropriate behavior. He alone bears the burden of his conduct and alone should suffer the consequences.”
Although not quite comparable, the influential MCRC Briefs (not affiliated with the Maricopa pointed out this morning that McCain has had his own flare-ups with what could be described as misogynistic language. McCain's 2008 Presidential campaign brought rehashes of both his "joke" about Chelsea Clinton's appearance (he apologized), and calling his wife a c**t to her face in front of three reporters.**

* In the Washington Post article this morning, Trump said "I don’t know how that’s going to boil down but people have no idea the support." It would appear that the pot may soon be ruined.
**MCRC pointed out the latter incident, Arizona's Politics added the Clinton example.

  1. Instead of lauding Trump for speaking the truth. It all began Friday afternoon, when the Washington Post published a 2005 video of Trump caught on a hot mic with then “Access Hollywood” host Billy Bush. Among other things, Trump boasted about trying to “f***” a married woman and admitted he failed also declared that as a celebrity, he could do anything with women, including grabbing them “by the p****.” Ever hear of groupies? They have been around since Biblical times. The truth is some women thrive on having a famous person pay attention to them any kind of attention.
Any guy that says he hasn't participated in bragging with other guys about their conquest or attempts with females or made remarks about their body parts to another guy is not telling you the truth.

  2. Really, Barbara? Biblical times? Are you referring to Moses' "Access Canaan" interview with Burning Bush?
