Arizona Rep. Franks Reintroduces 20-Week Abortion Ban With Fresh Hope In GOP Senate

Arizona Rep. Trent Franks (R-CD8) - along with Tennessee Republican Marsha Blackburn - has fresh hope as he re-introduces a 20-week abortion ban bill on the 1st day of the new Congress.

His Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act passed the House in 2013 but stalled in the Democratic-controlled Senate.  The Senate is now under GOP control - though President Obama would surely veto it if it made it to his desk.

The text of the bill is not yet available, but here is the text of the previous version.
