New Arizona Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ) may not have participated in the Gang of Eight's news conference yesterday, but he was interviewed later in the day by PBS' Newshour's Gwen Ifill on the comprehensive immigration reform proposal. He believes "we have the planets aligned to move ahead", partly because "the election had a way of focusing our attention on the issue."
