This afternoon, Arizona Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-CD3) got 16 votes from the Democrats' Steering and Policy Committee for the Ranking Member position on the Natural Resources Committee. That was just enough to force a vote in the entire Democratic House Caucus tomorrow (12pm, AZ Time).
The 52-member SPC voted 33-16 to endorse Oregon Rep. Peter DeFazio; Grijalva needed at least 14 votes to bring it to the caucus. The two Congressmen are competing to replace Rep.-turned-Sen. Edward Markey.
