NPR just posted a very concise and helpful interview (transcript, edited) with Johns Hopkins Hospital's neurosurgeon-in-chief, Dr. Henry Brem. Dr. Brem discusses the details of the typical cranioplasty - the procedure that Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-CD8) underwent today. (One of my kids and I had been discussing this procedure yesterday; now, we can have some real information to talk about!)
