Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick (D-CD1), the Democrats' presumptive nominee to replace Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) in November awkwardly declined on CNN this afternoon to say whether or not she believed Hillary Clinton is trustworthy.
With that, the McCain campaign believes that they have found the perfect counterweight to the Senator's refusal to speak Donald Trump's name and to either endorse or oppose him.
Kirkpatrick tried to skirt the question, but CNN's Brooke Baldwin persisted. When time ran out for the interview, the non-response was clear as most days in Arizona.
CNN has not (yet) posted the video, but McCain's campaign has sent out this clip.
