BEYOND HYPER-PARTISANSHIP: Sen. Flake Spends This Year's Deserted Island Time With Democratic Sen. Heinrich

Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) is constantly widening his circle of deserted island companions.  First, he went solo, and then with two of his sons (Tanner, Dallin).  Last month, he was accompanied by New Mexico colleague Martin Heinrich (D-NM) and a Discovery camera crew.

That's right. Our junior Senator is going to be reality TV star - "Rival Survival" will air the week before the November 4 election.

And, while Arizona's Politics disagrees with CNN's lead that Flake and Heinrich "are going to extreme lengths to express support for bipartisanship" - because it just shows that humans can work together and our political ideology is not EVERYTHING about who we are - it is always nice to see D's and R's working together on solving problems.

And, it is nice to know that we willl NEVER see Sen. Flake on "Naked and Afraid"... or especially "Dating Naked"!
