Arizona Governor Jan Brewer (R-AZ) led of CNN's Piers Morgan's program tonight. He asked her about efforts at immigration reform and to quell gun violence. Brewer emphasized the need to address mental health issues.
Morgan asked Brewer for her personal feelings about the video of the Connecticut father who was talking about losing his son in the Newtown massacre and his question about why anyone would need the assault weapons or extended capacity magazines. Brewer noted that it always hurts to lose a child, whether it is by guns, by knives, by swimming pools. She again emphasized the need to address mental health issues.
